On a happy day wind doesn’t bother me.
I like the sun on my face.
I don’t hide my face.
On a happy day I love reading books.
I could spend a whole day going through the library.
I am taking a pile of books home.
I read what I want to read.
On a happy day I love being outside.
Breathing in the fresh air.
Talking to a stranger.
I am not afraid.
On a happy day I care about beauty.
And I eat chocolate,
For the first time this year.
I look at the flowers my lover brought me yesterday,
With tears in my eyes on a happy day.
I skip lunch.
I don’t listen to music.
I don’t open any letters.
On a happy day I’d have cheese and wine.
I watch the trees outside my window,
Slowly loosing their leaves.
The alley is covered by now.
On a happy day I buy everything I want,
Pink shampoo and foam.
And I am not going to tell anyone,
How sad I am.
